BEGIN RESTORATION!

Thom Hunter

Thom Hunter, director of BridgeBack Ministries, shares from his experience of having struggled for years with unwanted same-sex attaction. Thom believes that it is only through a relationship with Christ that any man or woman can move out of sexual brokenness through the persistent pursuit of holiness and wholeness. Thom is the author of "Who Told You You Were Naked?" The Counterfeit Compassion of Culture, and Surviving Sexual Brokenness: What Grace Can Do.

"Who Told You You Were Naked?" Thom Hunter's new book addresses the counterfeit compassion of culture regarding sexual brokenness.

IT'S TIME TO FALL FOR THE TRUTH.

Know the truth . . .

Turn in hope . . . .

Grow in faith . . .

Embrace His grace.

Too often, once we've battered and bruised ourselves and find ourselves weak and weary, we find that others are ready to take up the task to completion. Unfortunately, many Christians who struggle with a sexual issue -- particularly homosexuality -- would rather live in the darkness than risk the bright light of revelation. It shouldn't be that way.

It starts with talking with someone you can trust to stick to the truth of God's Word, but who understands both the powerful pull of temptation and the deep desire for freedom from its dominance.

You've come to the right place.

If you need help and support and encouragement and truth . . . you can find it here.

Does it seem like you have gone too far . . . too off-course . . . and it's just too late?   It's not.  You crossed a bridge into brokenness somewhere and now it's time to take a bridge back to wholeness. The good news is, you don't have to cross that bridge alone.

Too often, Christians struggle secretly with sexual issues they dare not reveal for fear of judgment, resulting in shame and guilt added to what they already bear. At BridgeBack Ministries, we understand where you've been, and most assuredly where you want to go. Sexual brokenness -- whether it is unwanted same-sex attraction, adultery, pornography addiction or another sexual sin, is both dominating and draining. The fear of our brokenness being revealed before we've learned to deal effectively with it, is daunting.

Finding someone who not only understands, but is safe, knowlegeable, encouraging and able to share Biblical truth with uncompromised compassion is one of the most important steps onto the bridge that takes us back to where we were before we fell into sexual brokenness.

My own experience with unwanted same-sex attraction and sexual brokenness is the basis of my desire to help you walk free, reclaming the indentity God designed for you.  He tells us that, out of our own brokenness, we are to help others be restored.  While we are created as unique individuals, which means struggles and difficulties can manifest differently in each one of us, Christ is unchangeable, as is the Word of God. His love for you and His hope for you is as unlimited as His grace.

BridgeBack Ministries helps people who struggle with sexual addiction and the ones who love them enough to want to see healing and restoration come to their friend or family member.

Bridgeback Ministries offers contribution-based one-on-one "experienced-based" Biblical counseling, support groups, and resources for men and their family members affected by sexual and relational brokenness, with a focus on the impact of homosexuality.

Biblical truth never changes, no matter how hard modern culture tries to re-write it to make it more comfortable and compatible with weakened morals and standards.

At BridgeBack, we go beyond the cookie cutter responses to reallly listen and respond with truth and compassion. We've all experienced the pain of people walking away. Our goal is to walk alongside, pursuing a path to freedom.

Are you ready to take the first step back across the bridge?
